Help Palestine

The majority of the 2.3 million people living in the Gaza Strip were forced to flee their homes as a result of the Israeli bombardment, which also resulted in a critical humanitarian catastrophe marked by severe lack of food, water, and medical supplies.

More than 75% of the population, or around 1.7 million people, were relocated within Gaza, with many of them having to relocate many times.

Israel increased its bombing of Rafah, which is in the southern Gaza Strip and borders Egypt, last month. There there are a lot of people—roughly 1.5 million.

The majority of people who currently dwell in Rafah were forced to abandon their homes in the northern Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli military campaign that started in October of last year.

The World Health Organization reports that the majority of the 36 hospitals on the Strip are no longer in operation. The “Al-Amal” Hospital in Khan Yunis is running at a minimum, she continued, while only 12 of these hospitals—six in the north and six in the south of the Gaza Strip—are only partially operational.

More than eight thousand people must be evacuated from Gaza immediately in order to receive medical attention.

At the start of the conflict, Israel cut off all imports into Gaza including fuel, food, medications, and energy.

Later on, it opened the door for relief supplies. However, aid organizations claim that their operations are significantly hampered by security checks and the difficulty of navigating through a combat zone.

Children in northern Gaza have “extremely high” rates of malnutrition, around three times higher than in the southern Palestinian Strip, according to UN organizations. where there is greater access to aid.

In northern Gaza, one in six children under the age of two is acutely malnourished.

Since the massacre of Palestinians last month who were gathered to receive aid, calls have grown for Israel to step up its efforts to address the humanitarian crisis.

Be a part and lend a helping hand to our families in Palestine.

Leading the Emergency Humanitarian Response for Gaza: Immediate Action Required

This is an outlines about the critical and urgent objectives for the “Help Palestine: Gaza Emergency Humanitarian Response” project. The leadership in this initiative is paramount, as we confront a catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, marked by widespread displacement, severe shortages of essentials, and a crumbling healthcare system.

The scale of suffering in Gaza demands immediate and comprehensive intervention. Over 2.3 million people have been forced from their homes, many repeatedly, and are concentrated in areas like Rafah, under relentless bombardment. The near-total collapse of the healthcare infrastructure, dire lack of food (especially for children in the north facing extreme malnutrition), water, and medical supplies, compounded by severe access restrictions for aid, presents an unprecedented challenge. Reports of over 8,000 urgent medical evacuations needed underscore the severity of the crisis.

The core responsibilities in leading this emergency response will include:

  • Rapid Needs Assessment and Prioritization: Continuously assessing the most critical and urgent humanitarian needs on the ground, with a particular focus on food security (especially for children under two), access to clean water, medical supplies, and emergency shelter.
  • Logistics and Aid Delivery in a Combat Zone: Navigating extreme operational challenges, including security checks, active conflict zones, and damaged infrastructure, to ensure the safe and timely procurement, transportation, and distribution of aid. This requires exceptional logistical planning and risk mitigation.
  • Partnership and Coordination: Forging and strengthening vital partnerships with local humanitarian organizations, international NGOs, UN agencies, and other relevant actors to maximize reach, avoid duplication, and ensure a coordinated and effective response.
  • Medical and Health Intervention Oversight: Prioritizing and facilitating the delivery of medical supplies to the few partially operational hospitals and clinics. Assessing the feasibility and advocating for medical evacuations for critical cases.
  • Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Provision: Implementing emergency WASH solutions, including clean water distribution, hygiene kits, and sanitation facilities, to prevent the spread of disease.
  • Protection Mainstreaming: Ensuring protection principles are integrated into all aid delivery, considering the vulnerabilities of displaced populations and reports of violence.
  • Advocacy and Access: Collaborating with advocacy teams to amplify calls for increased humanitarian access and the unhindered flow of aid into Gaza.
  • Emergency Fund Management: Meticulously managing and ensuring the transparent and accountable deployment of donated funds to meet immediate humanitarian needs, under immense time pressure.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Providing regular, accurate, and compelling reports on the humanitarian situation, aid distribution, challenges faced, and the impact of our interventions for both internal stakeholders and donors.

The ability to lead with compassion, strategic foresight, and exceptional resilience under extreme pressure will be critical to the success of this project. The lives and well-being of countless individuals in Gaza depend on our unwavering commitment and immediate action. We have full confidence in your capacity to lead this vital emergency response.

Urgent Humanitarian Aid for Gaza: A Lifeline in Crisis

Project Title: Help Palestine: Gaza Emergency Humanitarian Response

Vision: To provide immediate, life-saving humanitarian assistance to the besieged and displaced population of the Gaza Strip, addressing critical shortages of food, water, medical supplies, and shelter amidst an escalating humanitarian catastrophe.

The Unprecedented Crisis: The Gaza Strip is enduring an unimaginable humanitarian catastrophe. Over 2.3 million people, the vast majority, have been displaced, many multiple times, seeking refuge in already overcrowded areas like Rafah, now under intensified bombardment. The healthcare system has crumbled, with most of Gaza’s 36 hospitals non-operational. Food, clean water, and medical supplies are critically scarce, leading to alarming rates of malnutrition, particularly among children in northern Gaza where one in six children under two are acutely malnourished. Access for aid remains severely hampered by security checks and conflict, exacerbating an already dire situation. Over 8,000 individuals require immediate medical evacuation.

Why Your Immediate Donation is a Lifeline:

  • Ethical and Transparent: We are committed to rigorous accountability, ensuring every dollar is maximized for direct humanitarian impact amidst this complex emergency.
  • Saving Lives Now: Your donation directly provides essential provisions – food, water, and vital medical supplies – to people facing starvation, dehydration, and preventable death.
  • Targeting Extreme Vulnerability: We prioritize the most vulnerable, including malnourished children, the injured, and families repeatedly displaced and living in precarious conditions.
  • Addressing Catastrophic Shortages: Your funds directly combat the severe lack of basic necessities, which is literally a matter of life and death for millions.
  • Enabling Frontline Action: We work to overcome immense logistical challenges to ensure aid reaches those trapped in conflict zones, even with severe access restrictions.
